How We Got Here

This is a family run business based on a close bond between two sisters. We both enjoy working in the corporate world but a piece of us was missing, so we decided to embark on a journey together which would allow us to engage with our creative side. The idea which was the most appealing and satisfying was creating a product we believed would help enhance the well-being of our customers. We understand the importance of taking time for yourself to relax mentally and this is how the candle collection for Fernandos London was formed. Candles have also contributed to us implementing a more zen way of life, whether it be via burning candles whilst engaging in prayers / chants or taking 5 minutes out of our day to practice mindfulness as a form of meditation.

We committed ourselves to creating beautifully designed, stylish candles that were environmentally friendly. We've always had a strong fondness for how candles have the ability to evoke positive sentiments as well as add ambience to an atmosphere. The uplifting scents of our candles makes us feel content, and we wanted to bring others on our journey as we believe in making the most of life's simple pleasures. The names of the scents are an appreciation of the leafy green areas of Kent in which we live. We are fortunate enough to live in such beautiful green spaces with nearby farms and woodlands, which has really inspired each of our candles.
